Echinopsis atacamensis is also known as ‘Cardon Grande’. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 10 m (33 ft) tall and around 70 cm (28″) in diameter. The plant has about 20 to 30 ribs and the cacti areoles that about 50 to 100 short brown spines. When it flowers you can expect it to produce white flowers.
