Echinocereus Dasyacanthus is also commonly known as the Texas Rainbow Cactus. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 25 cm (10″) long and about 7.5 cm (3″) in diameter. The plant has 15 to 18 ribs. The most notable features of the cacti is the light green to dark green stem that is covered with white spines. These spines are mostly white although in some case they appear tan to brown. When it flowers you can expect it to produce bright yellow flowers from spring.
