Ceiba Speciosa is also commonly known as the ‘Silk Floss Tree’. As the plant matures you will notice that it is able to reach up to 18 m (60ft) tall and around 10 m (30ft) in diameter. When you look at the picture of the plant you will notice that the leaves have branched out, this is common among the silk floss tree. When the it flowers you can expect it to produce large, pale pink to rose color flowers from summer to fall.
