Cylindropuntia Bigelovii is also known as the ‘Jumping Cholla’. As the plant matures you can expect it to grow slowly up to around 2 m (6ft) tall and about 15 cm (5″) in diameter. The plants main feature are the green stems covered by brown to white looking spines.

Jumping Cholla is native to Mexico around Baja California, Baja California sur and Sonora. You can also find the species around the United States in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
